The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 has been one of the more popular 9mm pistols to hit the market in a long time. Although it’s largely made of plastic, many people love it for its affordability and controllability as either a braced pistol or a rifle. Just like any other popular firearm, the market is always quick to make aftermarket parts to improve it and Timney Triggers is excited to announce that it is reintroducing the CZ Scorpion Replacement Trigger.

The newly designed drop-in trigger has been updated to fit the new Scorpion 3+ micro as well as previous versions of the Scorpion Evo lineup. The triggers hammer, trigger shoe, and disconnect are all precision machined from heat-treated steel and the trigger pull weight is user-adjustable from 3lbs to 5.5 lbs.

Other features include an NP-3 plated hammer (to increase lubricity), and a black oxide trigger finish for durability and corrosion resistance. Timney states that only a curved trigger shoe will be offered initially, however, this indicates to me that there will be a flat-faced or another style of trigger shoe coming sometime down the road. The new trigger is currently available from the Timney Triggers website for a price of $227.99 and comes pre-assembled and ready to “drop-in” to your CZ Scorpion Evo pistol or rifle. Like other Timney triggers, the CZ Scorpion Replacement Trigger V2 will come with a no-hassle lifetime warranty.

With the availability of accessories and attachments offered for the Scorpion platform, it’s no wonder the popularity of the highly customizable rifle. From several braces, grips, forends, magazines, safeties, mag releases, charging handles – all designed specifically for the rifle.

But one of Timney’s favorite sayings rings true with the Scorpion, “A fine rifle or pistol is no better than its trigger.”

Timney engineered every component of the new Scorpion trigger to elevate your accuracy.

  • Configurable pull weight of 3-3.5 lbs. or 5-5.5 lbs
  • 100% drop-in technology – no gunsmith needed
  • Fits all CZ scopion rifles, including the new 3+ Micro
  • Precision Machined from premium materials
  • Backed by our Legendary Lifetime Warranty
